TEUTOR The Project is funded under the Community Action LLP, or Lifelong Learning Program (LLP) - Multilateral Projects Transfer of Innovation. The main objective of the project is the establishment of an innovative model and Joint training for tutors working for job placement of disadvantaged groups, adaptable and implemented in all partner countries of the project
WHY A PROJECT ON THE PROFESSIONAL TUTOR?
The demand for services related to work placements for disadvantaged groups is continuing to rise, given the increasing complexity and dynamism of social reality, the world of work, of those facing difficulties . In Europe, the authorities in charge of managing such services are public institutions and social enterprises, mediation fundamental tool for access to employment of disadvantaged groups. Despite this increase in demand, however, standard training modules for tutors recognized either at national or European level has not seen a similar increase. The project aims to create a pilot training course for tutors in job placement , to be tested in the partner countries of the project, starting from an analysis of local contexts and needs common to address the need for uniformity in training in the social field.
The objectives of the project:
- studying the European system of training for tutors for the employment of disadvantaged people;
- sharing information and tools for the construction of a training course in common with the countries involved in the project, develop assessment tools cutting;

THE BENEFICIARIES OF THE PROJECT :
will be 30-45 young people that will participate to the experimentation of the training module in the different partner countries – Italy, Bulgaria, France, Poland.The partnership has identified the young people as major beneficiary since they generally meet more difficulties in being stabilised on the work place. Mobility is also often reduced, because of professional titles are not always recognised at European level. The project will therefore promote mobility and employability as a consequence.
The training module should provide young tutors with different skills: notions from psychology, technical and legislative knowledge in the field of social inclusion of disadvantaged weak groups.
Other beneficiaries are:
- training centres that will dispose of a new training tool aimed at creating a new professional figure, a tutor specialised in the field of social and work inclusion of weak social groups
- social enterprises, who will benefit from these professional figures, improving the quality of working insertion processes and improving as well their competitiveness.
- Local bodies, who may implement the good practises experienced within the project and improve local employment policies. They may employ, at need, qualified tutors within their services.
- Social disadvantaged groups who will benefit from the skills of professional tutors adequately trained.
- Future participants attending the course, who will benefit from a training recognised at European level and will see their chances to be employed increased.
